Using Snappie

Snappie lets you edit photos with on-device looks and AI looks. Snappie’s editing, photo booth and AI features require an active Snappie Plus or Gold subscription. Plans require age 16+ and guardian permission in Australia or the United States, or age 18+ elsewhere, and availability in your current region. Update your region when travelling; do not bypass restrictions. Don’t use AI effects on photos of anyone below the cloud-AI minimum age. Only upload photos you have the right to use, and don’t edit photos of other people in ways they haven’t agreed to. Don’t use Snappie to create content that is illegal, sexual content involving minors, harassment, or deceptive impersonation. Do not upload sexual, exploitative or abusive content. We may refuse AI requests that break these rules. Report unsafe results from the result screen or Settings; do not attach explicit images or suspected child-abuse material to reports.

Subscriptions

Snappie Plus and Gold are auto-renewing weekly subscriptions. Where an introductory price is offered, it applies to the first week only, then the regular weekly price shown before purchase is charged. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

AI credits

AI generation requires an active Snappie Plus or Gold subscription, even if you have welcome, purchased or refunded credits. Each AI effect uses the number of credits shown before you start. Included daily credits reset at midnight UTC and do not roll over; they are used before saved credits. Purchased credits do not have a scheduled expiry while your account remains available, but an active subscription is still required to use them. Deleting your account removes its remaining credits. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.

Generation credit refunds

When the service reports a failed AI generation, the credits charged for that attempt are returned automatically. For a completed result that does not look like you, use the report option on its result screen within 24 hours of starting the generation. Quality refunds are limited to one per generation and five per calendar week, measured in UTC. Approved quality refunds return the generation cost as saved credits. These are in-app credit refunds, not refunds of App Store payments. Contact support if an eligible refund does not complete.

AI results

AI effects can change faces and other details, produce mistakes, or be refused by safety checks. Results are not guaranteed to match a preview. Review them before sharing. Snappie does not claim ownership of the photos you upload or results you generate. You remain responsible for having permission to use and share them; AI results may not be unique.

The service

We work hard to keep Snappie running, but features may change and the service may occasionally be unavailable. Snappie is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.

Apple

These terms are between you and Snappie, not Apple. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app.
